Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella,” the beloved classic fairytale, comes to life on the Community Arts Center stage with a magical and enchanting twist. This timeless tale tells the story of a kind and gentle young woman named Ella (Cinder Ella), who, with the help of her fairy godmother (Marie), overcomes adversity and captures the heart of a prince. The Broadway version, originally adapted for the stage in 2013, features stunning costumes, memorable songs, and a modern take on the beloved characters. Audiences can expect a captivating experience filled with romance, humor, and the enduring message that dreams can come true. With its dazzling production and timeless charm, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella promises to transport theatergoers to a world of wonder and make them believe in the power of love and magic once more.

CommUNITY Story Circle with Jetta Nicoline Harrison
In collaboration with the Susquehanna Valley United Way, the Meet My Melanin exhibition - located inside the Samek Art Museum Downtown Gallery - will be home to four CommUNITY Story Circles. These story circles are part of the United Way's 'Community Mapping Project', a yearlong process of story-gathering to create a deeper, more informed, and human-centered view of the five-county Susquehanna Valley region.

Juneteenth 2022: Living Free & Healthy
Everyone is invited to Brandon Park on June 18 this year for #JUNETEENTH! There will be food, fun, music, fitness class demos, drumming, spoken word, yoga, mediation, and financial health info. I will be the events official photographer for the second year in a row and would love to take your photograph! The stage show and festival will run from noon to 4pm on the 18th. Plus there will be a Peace Walk from Freedom Road Cemetery in the morning starting at 9:30am.
MUM Spring Spiritual Holistic Expo
The expo that opened the door! Open yourself to the love, knowledge and wisdom this expo has to offer. You don’t want to miss it! The show has been in existence for 30 years and this year I will be a featured vendor offering private readings and birth mandalas all weekend. Come with an open mind and experience it all, with more than 160 vendors, there’s plenty to discover.
