Meet My Melanin is collaborating with the Susquehanna Valley United Way's Community Mapping Project because we believe, together, that stories matter, and that people sharing their stories builds community, creates understanding, and drives positive change.

In conjunction with the Samek Gallery exhibition, Meet My Melanin and the Community Mapping Project will be hosting 4 Story Circles at the gallery, in the context of these beautiful faces and voices.

Come meet people, share stories, and explore community together.

Use the link attached to this event to sign up for your preferred date and time. Add your email address to receive a reminder closer to the date. If you’re a person of color and are interested in a BIPOC only story circle, we’ve made that option available and will contact you with further information as long as enough interest is garnered.

Participants are limited to 12, so if you sign up, please treat that as a commitment to come. We wouldn't want someone to miss out because you reserved a spot you didn't end up using!
